AQA A-level Biology exam dates 2027 (specification 7402)
7402/1 Paper 1: Monday 7 June 2027, afternoon, 2 hours. Topics 1–4, including practical skills.
7402/2 Paper 2: Monday 14 June 2027, afternoon, 2 hours. Topics 5–8, including practical skills.
7402/3 Paper 3: Friday 18 June 2027, morning, 2 hours. Any content from topics 1–8, including the 25-mark essay.
AQA AS Biology (specification 7401)
7401/1 Paper 1: Thursday 13 May 2027, morning, 1 hour 30 minutes.
7401/2 Paper 2: Thursday 20 May 2027, morning, 1 hour 30 minutes.
OCR A Level Biology A exam dates 2027 (specification H420)
H420/01 Biological processes: Monday 7 June 2027, afternoon, 2 hours 15 minutes. Modules 1, 2, 3 and 5.

A simple revision countdown
Now to February: keep up with each topic as you finish it in class. Test yourself little and often with exam questions by topic and self-marking quizzes.
March and April: move on to full past papers under timed conditions. AQA students should start planning practice essays (see the AQA essay tips and past titles).
May: go back over the questions you got wrong and learn the mark-scheme wording for them.
June: Papers 1 and 2 are a week apart, so use the gap to revise the topics for Paper 2, then mix all topics before Paper 3.
