Remember biodiversity is not the number of species ! It is a measure of species richness and species evenness.

Make an effort to revise sampling techniques from your required practicals - and focus on what you are trying to achieve with a sampling strategy, and how that strategy will enable a valid comparison of different ecosystems or an accurate representation of the area as a whole.
