In October 2020, an A* in Edexcel A Level Biology B (9BI0) needed 187 marks out of 300 (62%), an A needed 153 (51%) and a pass at E needed 44 (15%). At AS (8BI0), an A needed 92 out of 160 (58%).
All marks below are raw marks from Pearson's published grade boundaries. Your grade comes from your total across the papers; the boundaries for each paper are Pearson's notional component boundaries, a guide to how you did on that paper rather than a separate grade.
There were no summer exams in 2020. Pearson ran an autumn series in October 2020 for students who wanted to sit the papers.

- Read the examiners' report for every question where you dropped marks.
Boundaries move from year to year as papers get harder or easier. See how they compare across every year.
