Since the current Edexcel A Level Biology B specification began, the A* boundary has ranged from 176 out of 300 (November 2021) to 217 out of 300 (June 2025). Every series is below, with a link to the full boundaries for each paper.
Edexcel AS Biology B Grade Boundaries June 2016 (8BI0)
In June 2016, the first series of the current specification, an A in Edexcel AS Biology B (8BI0) needed 91 marks out of 160 (57%) and an E needed 50 (31%). The first A level (9BI0) exams were in June 2017.
