The Thursday in August when the A level results are published is my favourite morning of the year.
I get nervous and emotional and usually well-up at least once.
Students work far harder now than ever and think so carefully about how they revise and what they choose to do.
It is heartening to see them succeed in a subject that they found challenging

Tom is a thoroughly lovely chap who has gone above and beyond supporting my 3 daughters with their Biology A levels. All 3 got A grades in their biology A levels exams having previously been getting Ds and Cs. My eldest is now in her final year of medicine, my middle daughter going into her final year of a maths degree and youngest heading off to a Russel group uni.
Nothing was too much effort for Tom. He is a dedicated, talented and highly experienced teacher who makes learning enjoyable and importantly memorable! My only wish was that he had taught them at school too. Thank-you Tom!
The lessons were very useful for me because it was always a mixture of content and questions to allow me to get used to the exam technique but also apply the knowledge I had learnt with Tom during our sessions. The lesson were planned out very well and I found the PowerPoint style really useful and informative. Tom is very efficient at conveying complicated topics in biology allowing him to cover large topics not only in the tutorials but also when reviewing the recorded lessons - it allows for a comprehensive and quick review of the topic, Which is a massive aid for revision. Group Lesson Feedback
I first found Tom's services soon after my son received an E grade in his year 12 mock and was facing a retake a few weeks later. Tom was able to quickly clarify some issues that helped my son improve enough to continue with his course as the school does not allow entry into year 13 below a certain grade.
Over the next year Tom then helped guide my son to a much improved high B grade which has played a major role in helping him be accepted to his 1st choice University.
Thanks Tom for all your help from those first worrying weeks after the initial mock result through to the joy of receiving a much higher grade in the actual A Level exam.
